I have a new obsession. My home management binder! I have made fun of my mom my whole life for having filing cabinets full of folders labeled with everything from the dogs names, to cleaning schedules. I can now say that the apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree, and I think I’m becoming an organiz-aholic. It’s a thing. So I started seeing all of these really awesome home management printables and binders on pinterest and blogs and thought it would be a great way to kick-start our new budget planning! The printables that I have made so far include: Daily expense tracker, Bills & payments, Monthly savings tracker, Monthly budget, Monthly glance, Spending plan, Recipe lists, Weekly menu plan, Grocery shopping lists,  Weekly cleaning, Wish lists, Log-in passwords, Goals tracker, Week at a glance, Medical information, Special dates, DIY + art projects, Master to do list, Christmas gifts, Christmas recipes, Family traditions… and more to come!

Now available here in my etsy shop! I will be updating it and including free printables in the future.

It’s that time again! My most favorite time of year. Some people call it Fall… I just go ahead and call it Christmas! I love Christmas. I mean,… really. So I have some new Christmas Cards up in my Etsy shop. I also take custom orders if your interested, just shoot me a message!

So I have been a horrible blogger. There just simply isn’t enough time in the day to do all of the things that I’m aspiring to do… but I’m trying!

Please forgive me for the lack of posts but hopefully the exciting things I’m about to unveil will make up for it! I have been caught up with 2 big time projects (aside from my 8-5 job) drum roll please…

UNVEILING #1… I designed our new photography blog! Lorelleandbanksphoto.wordpress.com

UNVEILING #2… Lorelle Paperie

I have been wanting to start my own stationary & wedding invitations business for SO LONG! I was thinking it might never happen when I got my full time job… but there is no time like the present right? I’m so excited to get this up and running and hopefully make some lovely brides very happy with something that makes me very happy… paper!

So here is what I’ve been working on the past couple of days! My sister’s lingerie shower invites! I really love them. They are colorful and crazy just like Lindsay. I printed my design first on embossed polka dot cardstock, then I decorated them with various little pieces from the scrapbooking section at Hobby Lobby! This was a really fun way to do personalized invitations, however I don’t suggest this method for perfectionists, because you will sit and arrange one card for hours before you realize you still have 40 more to make! It was fun, I hope you love them like i do!

Thank you Etsy for having awesome artwork. I just really want these…

1. (There’s just something about you.)- amelia mae

2. (Let it go)- Nan Lawson Illustration

3. (A bit of Paris)- Artquirk

4. (Always Remember)- studio mela

5. (Six poppies on green)- rachelaustin

DIY-ing our wedding invitation suite was definitely a labor of love. I had never done a design/assembly project of this magnitude before and wasn’t ready for the hours it would take folding, cutting, printing, and tying. This was also my first stab at calligraphy and that took WAY more practice than I was prepared for. Some words that inspired us when we was dreaming up and creating our wedding were vintage, outdoor, country, eclectic, and definitely romantic. I absolutely adore our invitations, and I hope you do too!

I am officially intoxicated by Paper Source. I visited the store front at Northpark Mall on a trip to dallas and was immediately at home… I could have stayed there for days just grazing through the shelves of loveliness!

It is this 2010 Wall Calendar that has me particularly entranced:

Christmas is just around the corner people… anyone? anyone? But really, I’m not sure If I can wait that long to have this piece of beauty to adorn my cubicle at work!
